This is your weekly market update for the San Francisco East Bay Area. This is for Berkeley, Oakland, Piedmont, and Lamorinda for the week of March 23, 2022.

  • Berkeley has 49 active single family homes for sale on the market right now, 50 are pending and that’s 1 month’s worth of inventory. Last week 8 were sold within a median days on market of 10. The average sold price for last week was $1,602,000. For condos and townhouses, there’s 10 on the market. There’s 8 that are currently pending and that is 1.3 months worth of inventory. Last week, 3 were sold within a median days of market of 13 and the average sale price for last week was $900,000.
  • For Oakland, there are 274 single family homes for sale on the market right now. There are 241 that are pending. That is 1.1 months worth of inventory. 45 were sold last week within a median days of of 12. Average sales price for last week was $1,229,000. For condos and townhouses, 124 on the market right now. There are 108 that are currently pending and that’s 1.1 months worth of inventory. Last week, 18 were sold within a median days of market of 12 and the average sold price for last week was $715,000. 
  • For Piedmont, there are 8 that are on the market right now. There are 7 that are currently pending and that is 1.1 months of inventory. Last week, 2 were sold within a median days on market of 12. The average sold price for last week was $2,530,000. 
  • For Lamorinda, there are currently 47 active single family homes for sale on the market. There are 65 that are pending. That means there’s less than 1 month’s worth of inventory at 7/10 of a month. Last week, 8 were sold within a media days on market of 8. Average sold price for last week was $2,691,000. For condos and townhouses, 13 are on the market and 16 are currently pending. That is 8/10 of a month’s worth of inventory.  Last week, 1 was sold in 13 days for $625,000.
