If rates come down and a bunch of buyers who’ve been sitting on the sidelines jump back in, you will be competing against more people for the same house.
Now that home you had room to negotiate on could have multiple offers.
So I don’t want you making your entire home-buying decision based on one number.

What can you comfortably afford? What opportunities exist in the market you’re shopping in? And where do we have room to negotiate?
