According to a recent survey done by Bankrate, owning a home is still the number one achievement for many people in the United States today despite the recent housing market. In fact, 74% surveyed said owning a home is their top priority and more important than retiring or having a successful career.
But is this dream still alive for the younger generation… Gen Z and Millennials? The answer is yes with 59% of this demographic saying pride of ownership and a place to call “their own home” is the primary reason they want to own a home.
