so before i jump into the numbers this
week i just wanted to say that these
numbers really haven’t changed much from
week to week
over the past couple months but what has
changed is the number of buyers that are
out there on the market because that interest rate is so low
there are so many buyers out there and the competition is fierce, man
If you are a buyer that has recently gotten into contract
congratulations to you because you are very lucky
so as of the time of this recording
oakland has 250 active homes for sale on
the market this is down five percent
from the previous week putting in eight
tenths of a month worth of inventory
it’s currently taking 31 days
for a house to get into contract and
last week 43 homes were sold for an
average sale price of one million two
hundred and fifty three thousand
for condos in the city of oakland there
are 139 that are on the market right now
putting that at 1.3 months worth of
inventory
it’s taken about 46 days for our house
to get into contract
last week 10 were sold for an average
sale price of 590
000. the city of berkeley has 41 homes
for sale on the market right now this is
exactly one month’s worth of inventory
it’s currently taking 41 days for a home
to get into contract
last week five homes were sold for an
average sales price of 1.196
million dollars condos in berkeley there
are 12
on the market right now this is 1.7
months worth of inventory it is
currently taking 43 days
for a house to get into contract last
week two condos were sold for an average
sales price of 665 000
